One (1) Roll Buffalo Nickels Mixed Dates Avg/Well Circulated Many Dateless 40 Coins

Auction is for one roll of 40 coins, Buffalo Nickels.

$14 per roll.

Lots of dateless and well-worn partial date coins, and of the 3 rolls I checked, a lot of 1930s Philly coins.

I have 29 rolls (I am listing 10 here for now as these are listed on other websites so ensuring they don't get oversold).

These were acquired from a recent live public auction in Maine. I opened 3 rolls to confirm they're Buffalo Nickels and have 40 coins and to see if they are dateless or have dates. Of the 3 rolls, all had 40 nickels. One 1941 Jefferson Nickel and 119 Buffaloes.

Mint State weight of a full nickel roll is 200 grams (5g/nickel). These rolls all average around 193-195g. The 5-7g difference is circulation wear. I will ensure all rolls sold have 40 nickels.

About 1/3 to 1/2 are either dateless or have well-worn partial dates.

Most of the full date coins are 1930s.

Not a lot of mint marks, maybe 5-10 per roll was the average of the 3 rolls I opened.

I did not check for any varieties.

These are being sold at $15 per roll.

I see many rolls of all dateless Buffalo Nickels being sold at $20 and up, so it should be a decent value. As a buyer, expect the worst - set your expectations VERY LOW. Hopefully you message me later to advise I was wrong. I truly hope that happens, but I also know rare coins are valuable, because they are rare. 29 rolls is 1160 coins; decent chance of something being in here, but probably not. If you buy 1160 Powerball tickets, do you think you're going to win? C'mon now!

Shipping: 1 roll - $47.75. 2 rolls $6.75. Shipping will be by USPS Ground Advantage.

3 or more rolls must go USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box which is $8.10. The cost to the buyer will be $8.10 for 3 rolls or more, any quantity. I will adjust the invoice before you checkout and pay as all invoices require prior approval before you pay. I do this to ensure the item hasn't been sold elsewhere.
