Roll - 20 Coins 1963 Proof Franklin Half Dollars - Mostly Gem+ Quality
Auction is for a higher end quality roll of 20 coins, all 1963 Gem Proof Franklin Half Dollars.
All coins are lustrous, with strong mirrors. Most of these have minimal to not much toning and are 90-95% "white/silver". with deeply mirrored reflectivity. Many exhibit some degree of contrast (or cameo).
Most of these are on the higher end of the grading scale somewhere at or past the halfway point of the 10 point Unc grading scale. Unc meaning no wear, not circulated. Proof is the striking method or die preparation technique. Special polished dies are used to strike US Proof coins and the coins are struck twice under high pressure.
Some have some light toning, but most are predominantly silver/white. This is one of the nicer rolls in the batch I acquired last September.
