1879-S 90% Silver Morgan Silver Dollar NGC MS65 Sunset Toned Gem NGC Generation 3 Fatty Slab

This listing is for a beautiful 1879-S Morgan Silver Dollar graded by NGC MS65. Beautiful sunset tones of and fiery auburn's, reds and oranges blended with gold and sienna against the shimmering luster of this fully stuck piece yield amazing eye appeal for the toned Morgan Dollar Aficionado.

This coin resides in an older NGC white "fatty" no bar code holder (NGC Gen 3 holder) which means it was graded between late 1987 and 1989, some 35 years ago.

From NGC Website: NGC 3 After the first few very briefly lasting varieties this one lasted for some time. The holder is the same as NGC 2 but the new bordered labels had arrived and as you can see the holder is much more attractive than the stark white of the [NGC 2[/b] and 2.1. This variety was begun in late 1987 or January of 1988 and lasted until the PCGS counterfeiting scare of late 1989 caused the adoption of holograms as a security measure on most slabs.

At SAM's, we use Stock Photos very infrequently. The coin in the photos is the exact coin you will receive.

All invoices must be pre-approved (by me) to ensure the coin you are purchasing is still available for sale. We sell on multiple sites, locally, etc. We do our bets to maintain current inventory, but sometimes one coin may sell twice within extremely close proximity of each other. We will pre-approve any/all invoices submi9tted promptly, usually in less than an hour from the time you checkout.

Pay only 1 shipping charge, (the highest) and all the rest ship at no extra charge. I will update shipping cost at the time I approve the invoice.
