What outstanding Indian I have here!!! This 1902 is truly what a "slider" should be and that is grade AU-58 which by definition is a coin that is otherwise MS-64 or MS-65 but has just that little bit of wear. In the case of this particular coin the tiny wear spots are right above the eye at the hairline, right above the ear, another spot at the hairline between those two, and one just below the second diamond from the top of the ribbon. As far as contact marks I see only two on the entire coin and they just below the eye and you need a loupe to see them. The ribbon has a full FOUR DIAMONDS and they are very sharp even the second one which has a tiny wear spot on the south side of it. I love the color on this coin. The reverse looks as if it was RB (Red Brown) and decided to tone just enough to Brown where you could not call it RB any more but you can still see hues of very very faint lighter color. (I'm at a loss of the right word for this lighter color it is not red and pink is right either but I believe you can get the general idea.) This will make a great addition to your Indian Cent collection or even for a type set. (Stock #01c1902158 FOUR DIAMONDS LZBPXV)
