There are quite a bit of mediocre 1922-D Cents out there. You could buy one those just to fill a hole in your set our you buy this one. The 1922-D I offer here is a Vf-35 with a strong strike which is quite scarce for this nortiously weakly struck date. Many would call this XF. I would were it not for the small flat spots right above Lincoln's ear and on his temple. Were the second "2" in the date as strong as the first "2" I would call this a sharp strike. The reverse is contact mark free with much better than average separation on the leaves in the wheat stalks. Sharpness stands out on the full separated lines in the weak stalks. The obverse is a hand full of tiny marks away from being contact mark free and you can only see one of the those (which is in the upper left field) without a loupe. This coin would be a great addition to any mid circulated grade Lincoln Cent set and it would look decent in an XF-AU set. (Stock #1922335LJBPAP)
