This 1945-D Washington Quarter in Xf-45 has really neat and nice reddish gold toning on the obverse. This same toning is also present on the reverse in a much more subdued manner. The surfaces are clean and this coin has a remarkable lack of contact marks for the grade. 1945-D is one the tougher dates in the series in the forties. Most of the specimens I see on 45-D have either been cleaned, have rim hits, or obviously lack eye appeal. This one has plenty of eye appeal so don't pass this one by.
