Offered here for the collector is a 2008-P Jefferson Nickel error coin.

This is a 2008-P Jefferson nickel with a Die Clash error. The obverse die that struck this coin had previously clashed with a reverse die with nothing between them. That left parts of the reverse design on the obverse die. The bottom of the steps of the Monticello can be seen across Jefferson's eyes.
