Very nice coin. But, seller sent via regular post with a regular stamp. I had to go to the post office and pay postage due. It would have been worth it had the seller sent it by registered mail.

Seller listed a 1941-D Mercury Dime in XF condition for $10. Of course, I bit because it was way underpriced, and offered $8. Seller accepted it, then reneged. I then saw the same coin listed for $40. Contacted the seller, offered $30, and seller accepted. Then got a message that that particular coin had been already sold, would I accept another one in similar condition? I said OK. Got the coin today: it is in Fine condition at best, not even VF. I understand that people over grade their coins, whether by wistfulness or avarice. But to bait and switch and then give a coin a grade two grades above its actual grade is too much. I am extremely disappointed and will not buy from stephen11 again This is an honest review. I am normally a very chill person who does not complain. But such a complaint is warranted in this case.

Reply by stephen11: TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY. HERE IS THE WAY THIS TRANSPIRED. I RECEIVED A ORDER FOR A 1931-D ( NOT A 1941-D ). WHEN I WENT TO FILL THE ORDER I COULD NOT LOCATED THIS COIN ( WHICH HAPPENS ONCE IN A WHILE ) I IMMEDIATELY REFUNDED THIS BUYER HIS MONEY AND SENT A MESSAGE LETTING HIM KNOW. HE CAME BACK TO ME AND OFFERED TO PURCHASE A DIFFERENT 1931-D FOR $30.00 THAT WAS LISTED AT $ 40.00. I AGREED TOLD HIM TO GO BACK IN AND PLACE THE ORDER FOR THE 1931-D THAT HE WANTED TO PURCHASE. HE DID SO AND I MAILED THE COIN HE PURCHASED. THE NEXT THING I KNOW I GET THIS NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. . THIS CUSTOMER IS NOW BLOCKED FROM DOING BUSINESS WITH ME. IF YOU GO AND VIEW THE COIN ON THIS INVOICE YOU WILL AGREE THAT THIS COIN IS AT LEAST A VF GRADE.
