This variety of the 1820 Capped Bust Dime features a large "0" in the 1820 date. The difference between the small "0" vs large "0" is that the large zero will line up with the bottom of the "2" and will be slightly bigger. The small zero will not line up with the bottom of the "2" but will sit up higher as depicted below in the example image of these coins:
