One variety of the 1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar features a pointed "6" in the 1806 date and the typical stem through extends through the eagle's claw on the reverse of the coin. The "6" has a pointed upper tip - unlike other varieties that have a knobbed tip. The difference between the knobbed 6 vs pointed 6 is depicted below in the example comparison image:



Looking at the reverse of the coin: The eagle is holding a branch in it's claw on the right side. Typically there will be a stem extending through the claw and downward (such as this variety).
