1872 Doubled Die Obverse DDO Two Cent Piece
The 1872 Two Cent Piece had a major doubled die obverse (DDO) error. The best way to identify this is the subtle doubling of the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" in the motto. Some of the strongest points of doubling are found in the letter "U" in "TRUST" as well as the letter "N" in "IN" and finally the "G" in "GOD".
