About Me:

My name is Marc R Perry but I go by thehistorian on eBay and here on USA COIN BOOK. I have been a collector since around 1999. I mostly buy US Mint products from their site but I also buy coins on eBay, local auctions, online auctions and hopefully here on US COIN BOOK. Even though I have only been a collector since 1999 I have quite a collection of coins and am always looking to fill in the empty areas. I do a lot of research before buying and I am NEVER an impulse buyer. I do not buy any PR70 coins as I am not looking for perfection as most of my graded coins are either PCGS PR69DCAM or NGC PR69DCAM. I am looking to buy some early US Mint Proof and Mint sets and will be putting a wanted list on here in the future.
