What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.):
1866 Seated Liberty Half Dollar - No Motto - Unique
The 1866 No Motto Seated Liberty Half Dollar is one of the rarest and most valuable of all US coins. This coin does not contain the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" above the eagle - which was added for all other 1866 half dollars. Only one unique pattern coin of this type was ever produced and it was part of a set containing 1 unique seated liberty quarter and 2 seated liberty dollar coins without the motto. Each of these coins are worth well over $1 Million!
