This is one of the major varieties of the 1834 Capped Bust Half Dime. This error features an 1834 date stamped over an initial inverted 1834 date. This overdate error can best be identified by noticing parts of the underlying "3" within the overlying "3" as depicted by the arrows in the example image above.
