What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.): One major variety is the 1828 Capped Bust Half Dollar with a curled/curved base on the number "2". There were two varieties of this curl base 2. This variety does not have a knob on the upper tip of the "2" and simply curls up. The other variety does have the knob on the 2.
