What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.): One major variety of the 1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent (Penny) is the Normal Head or "Low Relief" type. This coin can be identified by the lower relief of the liberty head on the obverse of the coin. The denticles that encircle the rim of the coin are smaller and more numerous than the high relief variety.
