1823/2 Capped Bust Quarter - 3 Over 2 Overdate Error
The 1823/2 Capped Bust Quarter only had one major variety which also happened to be an overdate error. All quarters of this year had an 1823 date struck over an 1822 date - there were no normal non-error variety. The underlying "2" is clearly seen under the "3" as depicted in the example image above.
